The main goal of the project was to develop a flexible and easily scalable website that could function correctly as both an information hub about restaurants in any country worldwide and a platform for ordering favorite dishes online. Additionally, it aimed to convey the juiciness and flavor of signature dishes through the device screen.
First, we developed a concept for photographing the restaurant's dishes that could be easily replicated anywhere. We validated this hypothesis by shooting and recreating all the dishes from the website's main page while being in Ukraine, even though the dishes were served in Poland.
Of course, before the shoot, we conducted a research phase to analyze all the processes within the restaurant chain. This allowed us to plan the work effectively and anticipate all possible scenarios for scaling the project.
For the shoot, we carefully planned the menu in advance, provided a list of ingredients for procurement, and arranged for tableware to be delivered from restaurants in Poland to replicate the dishes as accurately as possible. The stunning food photography was captured with the help of Max Smolyar and Natalya Bogun.
For this project, we brought in the best of the best specialists, and the focus on it was extraordinary because the client's requests were global, and the goals were ambitious. In our opinion, the result was well worth it.
In short, the project structure currently looks like this: new restaurants can be easily added directly from the admin panel by entering the restaurant's address, payment details, photos, and the delivery aggregator ID.
Now, the client has a complete and high-quality solution built for years to come. It fully meets their scaling needs, effectively and vividly conveys the essence of the product, enables delivery anytime and anywhere, and, of course, works seamlessly across all modern devices, browsers, and screen sizes.
To enhance focus on key interaction elements, we designed and implemented micro-animations. You can experience them right now by hovering your cursor over them or tapping on your smartphone screen.
The website we developed includes 22 pop-up windows that dynamically adjust their color based on the background of the page you are currently on.
We implemented the dish presentation style using stop-motion animation, creating a frame-by-frame video imitation in .jpg and .webp formats. This approach optimized the website's loading speed.
